Nearly 117 million meals distributed to date

BY THE NUMBERS 

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) continued its operations today to provide vital food aid for the Palestinian people in Gaza. Below is an update on today’s operations:

Distributed 29,376 boxes of aid today across three distribution sites:

Today, GHF distributed three trucksloads of potatoes and one truckload of onions at SDS3 as part of our ongoing pilot program to provide additional, supplemental food to our established distribution portions and feed more people in Gaza.

Additionally, 120 beneficiary bags, totaling 1,200 packets, of Ready-To-Use Supplementary Food (RUSF) were distributed at SDS3 in coordination with GHF’s partnership with Samaritan’s Purse.

Approximately 116,975,106 meals distributed to date via roughly 1,938,520 boxes.

SAFETY/SECURITY

Distributions at all sites ran smoothly today, ensuring the protection of all civilians present.

“We’ve delivered more than 116 million meals to date for the people of Gaza, providing a steady supply of aid to people in need.

“We continue our call for other humanitarian organizations to join our efforts, we have the scale and operational capacity to deliver more aid to the people. Our dedicated aid staff, comprised of Americans and local Palestinian partners, stands at the ready with the shared goal to feed as many Gazans as possible. The needs of Gazans grow more dire each day, and the solution is to deliver more aid.”
