STATEMENTS FROM GHF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOHN ACREE

September 1, 2025

“We continue to improve our operational model to scale up and adapt to the ever-changing demands on the ground. This includes innovating our distribution system, with pilot programs for vulnerable groups such as women and children.

“To date, we’ve delivered more than 148 million meals to the people of Gaza — a testament to the effectiveness of our system. Even more, it demonstrates the hard work and commitment of our humanitarian staff and local partners to our mission of feeding as many people in Gaza as possible.”
