The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) continued its operations today to provide vital food aid for the Palestinian people in Gaza. Below is an update on today’s operations:
BY THE NUMBERS
Distributed 23,328 boxes of aid today across two distribution sites:
| Location | Truckloads | Boxes | Meals |
| SDS2 (Saudi Neighborhood) | 12 | 10,368 | 665,280 |
| SDS3 (Khan Younis) | 15 | 12,960 | 831,600 |
| TOTAL | 27 | 23,328 | 1,496,880 |
In addition to our standard food aid items, we distributed two truckloads of potatoes at the SDS2 site today in an ongoing pilot program as we continue to seek ways to provide even more aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Approximately 71,897,842 meals distributed to date via roughly 1,224,856 boxes.
COMMUNITY DISTRIBUTION AND COLLABORATION
Following our recent call for collaboration with local community leaders, we have received an overwhelming response from organizations and individuals seeking to help provide additional assistance to Palestinians in Gaza.
We are reviewing these requests as we receive them and will continue our outreach to additional local organizations in the meantime to help address this need.
SAFETY/SECURITY
Hamas is claiming there was violence at our aid distribution sites today. False.
Once again, there were no incidents at or in the immediate vicinity of our sites.
But that’s not stopping some from spreading the lies being peddled by “officials” at the Hamas-controlled Nasser Hospital (this is the same hospital that denied care to our local workers after they were shot by Hamas, leading to 12 deaths).
Check your sources. These “officials” are notorious for spreading outright falsehoods.
STATEMENTS FROM GHF INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOHN ACREE
July 12, 2025
“Through the hard work of the GHF team and our partners on the ground, we successfully delivered more than two million meals today to the people of Gaza. Our aid workers continue to amaze me with their dedication and resilience in the most complex humanitarian environment in the world.
“From the first day of our operations, our mission has been clear — to deliver emergency food aid safely, quickly and directly. As we look ahead, we remain focused on scaling our efforts to ensure more food reaches more people across every region of Gaza.”
INACCURATE NEWS REPORTING:
Today the UN human rights office issued a statement on casualties of Palestinians seeking aid, tying them to GHF sites.
These false and misleading stats come directly from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry. The UN’s reliance and coordination with a terrorist organization to falsely smear our effort is not only disturbing but should be investigated by the international community. The fact is the most deadly attacks on aid sites have been linked to UN convoys, including last week where it was reported that 40 people were killed trying to reach UN aid trucks. Instead of hurling insults and promoting Hamas’ false propaganda from the sidelines, the UN and humanitarian groups should be working collaboratively with GHF to maximize the amount of aid securely delivered into Gaza.
Bottom line, GHF has delivered more than 70 million free meals directly to the Palestinian people while nearly all aid from the UN and other humanitarian groups has been looted by Hamas or criminal gangs.
