The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) continued its operations today to provide vital food aid for the Palestinian people in Gaza. Below is an update on today’s operations:

BY THE NUMBERS

Distributed 24,192 boxes of aid today at two distribution sites:

LocationTruckloadsBoxesMeals
SDS2 (Saudi Neighborhood)108,640554,400
SDS3 (Khan Younis)1815,552997,920
TOTAL2824,1921,552,320

Approximately 80,657,362 meals distributed to date via roughly 1,361,268 boxes.

Additionally, five truckloads of potatoes and three truckloads of onions were distributed to SDS3 Khan Younis as part of our ongoing pilot program.

COMMUNITY DISTRIBUTION AND COLLABORATION

Following our recent call for collaboration with local community leaders, we have received an overwhelming response from organizations and individuals seeking to help provide additional assistance to Palestinians in Gaza.

Sign-ups for our community distribution program are now over 260 and include people who were previously affiliated with the UN system, local NGOs, neighborhood groups and communities and professional associations.

This is a multi-stage process that includes inquiry, application, and onboarding, with vetting criteria in place.

That thousands of potential partners reached out to us within a few days speaks to the trust we’ve built and the urgency of the need.

SAFETY/SECURITY

Distributions at all sites ran smoothly today, ensuring the protection of all civilians present.

STATEMENTS FROM GHF INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOHN ACREE

July 19, 2025

“Safety will always be at the forefront of our operations, for Gazans and our aid staff. We will adapt and change in response to the evolving needs of the people of Gaza, including identifying new ways to communicate when our aid sites are open.

“Our staff remain committed— with more than 80 million meals delivered to families in Gaza to date, another significant milestone for our program. Even so, the need for food remains high, and we are again calling on the world’s humanitarian community to join us in our efforts to continue feeding as many people of Gaza as possible each day.”

INACCURATE NEWS REPORTING:

Inaccurate reporting has again falsely stated that those seeking aid were killed near GHF’s distribution sites. This is blatantly false and inconsistent with what GHF workers are seeing on the ground.

The false reporting, perpetuated by the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry, is part of a larger pattern of Hamas trying to undermine and ultimately end GHF. It is no coincidence that this incident occurred during ceasefire negotiations, where Hamas continues to demand that GHF cease operations.
