BY THE NUMBERS
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) continued its operations today to provide vital food aid for the Palestinian people in Gaza. Below is an update on today’s operations:
Distributed 19,008 boxes of aid today across three distribution sites:

SAFETY/SECURITY
Distributions at all sites ran smoothly today, ensuring the protection of all civilians present.

“Every day in Gaza presents a new challenge, but also a new opportunity to deliver food where it is needed most. Our teams and our partners are constantly adapting to ensure that food reaches families safely and efficiently under harrowing conditions.
“In recent days it appears the World Food Programme has resumed some distribution in Gaza, which is welcome news in line with our continued calls to get more food to more people as quickly as possible. Now is not the time to stand on the sidelines waiting for a more perfect situation to emerge, it’s time to act. The tragic scenes of civilians being crushed to death as people rush to get food from passing convoys can only be prevented by making food more widely available and it is incumbent on every aid organization to do everything in their power to make that happen.
“Distributing aid is no easy task in an active war zone and we applaud all groups who are persevering in this difficult environment. We continue to believe that by working collaboratively we can all achieve more.”
