The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) continued its operations today to provide vital food aid for the Palestinian people in Gaza. Below is an update on today’s operations:
BY THE NUMBERS
Distributed 17,280 boxes of aid today at one distribution site:

In addition to our standard food aid items, we distributed four truckloads of potatoes at the SDS2 site today in an ongoing pilot program as we continue to seek ways to provide even more aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza. Through this pilot program, we have provided 246 tonnes of potatoes to hungry children and families to date – that’s nearly the weight of 80 adult elephants!
Approximately 69,070,420 meals distributed to date via roughly 1,180,752 boxes.
SAFETY/SECURITY
Distributions at all sites ran smoothly, ensuring the protection of all civilians present.

“We announced a new community distribution program yesterday, and we are very encouraged by the results. Our goal is to continue to scale the program across all regions of Gaza, and we invite local leaders to request our participation in their areas. Together, we are saving lives, and I am honored to work with each of our team members and partners.”
UPDATES & CORRECTIONS
INACCURATE NEWS REPORTING:
We received several media inquiries regarding USAID’s review of GHF’s application for grant funding from the Trump Administration.
The fact is, as with any U.S. Government procurement process, questions and requests for clarification from USAID/State are routine. We are addressing each question as per regulations and normal procedure and will continue to do so as required. Read the full statement here.
