STATEMENTS FROM GHF INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOHN ACREE

July 23, 2025

“Distributing nearly 89 million meals to the people of Gaza is not only a testament to the hard work of our team, it is a small glimpse into the immensity of the humanitarian situation on the ground and the urgent need to get more food to more people.

“We are doing all that we can but we cannot do this alone. In order to provide Palestinians in Gaza the support they need, others must join us to deliver aid quickly, safely, and directly to those in need.

“We are not slowing down and we refuse to sit idly by as others are choosing to do at the moment. It is time for the U.N. and other organizations to work with us collaboratively to get this done. Meal by meal, we will keep feeding the people of Gaza who need it most.”
