BY THE NUMBERS
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) continued its operations today to provide vital food aid for the Palestinian people in Gaza. Below is an update on today’s operations:
Distributed 10,368 boxes of aid today across two distribution sites:
| Location | Truckloads | Boxes | Meals |
| SDS2 (Saudi Neighborhood) | 10 | 8,640 | 498,960 |
| SDS3 (Khan Younis) | 11 | 9,504 | 548,856 |
| TOTAL | 21 | 18,144 | 1,047,816 |
In addition to a general food distribution, GHF is conducting a blanket supplemental feeding program (BSFP) to prevent malnutrition for vulnerable women and children using Ready-to-Use Supplemental Food (RUSF). RUSF is formulated to both treat and prevent acute malnutrition in vulnerable groups.
Today, two pallets (about 12,500 individual packs) of RUSF were distributed at SDS2 and three pallets (about 18,750 individual packs) of RUSF were distributed at SDS3.
Additionally, GHF distributed one truckload of potatoes at SDS2 along with seven truckloads of potatoes at SDS3 as part of our ongoing pilot program to provide additional, supplemental food to our established distribution portions and feed more people in Gaza.
Yesterday GHF distributed more than half a million meals and nine truckloads of potatoes across SDS2 and SDS3 along with two pallets (about 12,500 individual packs) of RUSF at SDS2 and three pallets of RUSF (about 18,750 individual packs) at SDS3. Tuesday’s deliveries have been accounted for in GHF’s total distribution.
Approximately 171,860,706 meals distributed to date via roughly 2,888,920 boxes.
SAFETY/SECURITY
Distributions at all sites ran smoothly today, helping protect all civilians present.
