September 4, 2025 — We have incredible news to share: the Gazan boy that former disgruntled UG Solutions contractor Tony Aguilar called “Amir” and claimed was killed by the IDF is alive and safe.

After weeks of tireless efforts, GHF is relieved to share incredible news: the young Gazan boy known publicly as “Amir” has been found alive. His real name is Abood, and he and his family have made it safely out of Gaza.

This story ends in relief, but it nearly ended in tragedy because of one man’s lies and a media ecosystem that was far too eager to amplify them.
