July 11, 2025 — Statement from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF):
We welcome reports of an agreement between Israel and the European Union to increase the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza. GHF has consistently called for greater access for aid – through all available mechanisms – and we strongly support any step that helps feed more people, faster and safely. We are also encouraged by ongoing ceasefire negotiations, which we hope will ease suffering and enable more stable, large-scale humanitarian operations.
GHF also continues to press the Government of Israel to live up to its commitment to allow us to open additional sites, including in the north of Gaza. We also stand ready to help other humanitarian groups to deliver their aid directly to the Palestinian people in need. This is a moment for cooperation—not competition—in service of a civilian population in urgent need.
